Why we should eat breakfast?

Why should we eat breakfast?

Have you ever thought why everybody says that you should always eat breakfast? It seems like an obvious thing, but many people don't remember that and still not eating their breakfast in the morning. So why we should eat breakfast? What can happen if we won't?

There are many, many reasons why we should eat breakfast every day. First of all, we have some research from the University of Massachusetts that shows us that people who don't eat breakfast regularly can be more than 4 times more likely to be obese. This happens because eating breakfast gives the huge kick to your metabolism.

When you don't eat for a long time, your body is becoming catabolic (that means that your body will break down your muscles for fuel), so if you are taking care of your muscles (maybe you were working out hard on the gym?) and you don't want to lose them, better eat your breakfast every day. Good mix of healthy fats, carbohydrates, and protein will help you preserve the muscle tissue.

Blueberries on Breakfast

How to eat breakfast and lose some weight at the same time?

Ok, so now it's time to give you some tips about eating fit breakfast and losing weight at the same time. What we should do?

  • Lemon juice! If you will add a lemon juice not only to your water but also to yogurt or salads etc., you will increase saliva production and that will help to break down fat in your drinks and food.
  • Blueberries! Eating blueberries can reduce something that is called chylomicrons (fat globules) that are transported into your bloodstream.
  • Carbohydrate! If you reduce your carbohydrate intake to 50% of your daily calorie intake, you will be able to reduce a fat storage even by 10%.
  • Vinegar! If you start adding vinegar to any fatty food you eat, you will be able to increase the production of stomach acids. It also can help to reduce your body fat storage.

How ideal breakfast looks like?

If somebody would ask me how my ideal breakfast looks like, I would say that there are many different types of breakfast I could eat. But one of them would be 3 scrambled eggs (but only 1 yolk!), freshly squeezed orange juice, whole grain toast and a few pieces of fruit.

Why eggs? They contain vital protein which aids muscle growth and recovery. Toast can provide you fiber and carbohydrates and orange juice and fruits will give you essential minerals and vitamins as well as sugar boost which will give your metabolism a huge kick.

Conclusion

I hope this healthy blog article will convince you why we should eat breakfast every day with no exception. Without that meal, we won't be able to build our muscles. If you have some questions or you just enjoyed this post, feel free to leave me a comment in the section below.
