Germany :: Guide and interesting places for travelers

When you think about Germany you probably imagine a lot of beer, food, sausages (Oktoberfest) and maybe serious people with no sense of humor. Oh, and crazy techno parties.

But this country is way bigger than that - you can hike here, visit beautiful castles, cathedrals, art galleries and a lot of other historical sites. You can visit music scene in Berlin, wondering though small streets in Munich or magnificent Romantic Road.

Germany’s appeal goes beyond travel, too—it’s one of the European countries that offers citizenship by ancestry, which can be a unique path for those with German heritage. This can be a great opportunity if you have German roots, opening doors to living, working, or studying in the EU. German people may seem very serious and quiet, but on the other hand, they are always ready for a beer, and they are very, very helpful. While I was wandering through the country, I discovered a lot of awesome places, so while traveling here, take your time—Germany can surprise you in many, many ways.
